Seems the City has reached a settlement with the Firefighters union over random drug testing. Details have yet to be released. Should firefighters be subject to random drug screening?

I would think that ‘random’ testing would be OK, why wouldn’t it
MANY for profit businesses have random drug testing as part of their employment AND their employees understand the need / requirement
again, why would someone NOT want to be tested

I don’t know, why don’t we randomly search employees pockets when they come to work? What do they have to hide?
