Weeks after a majority of registered nurses at Flagstaff Medical Center rejected a bid to form a union, the acrimony between pro-union forces and representatives for the hospital rages on.
In a cramped conference room in a downtown office building, an administrative law judge has listened for several days over the past month to arguments over whether FMC violated the National Labor Relations Act.
A finding against the hospital could invalidate the 242 to 211 results and force a new election.
